LET'S GET IT TOGETHER!!!!
Ladies! Let's get one thing together. We all know that there is a time and a season for every piece of clothing that we own. For some, fall/winter may be our favorite time of the year and it irks me so much to see women getting overly excited about boot season by WEARING THEIR BOOTS TOO EARLY IN THE SEASON! Generally in the south, you won't pull out your tall boots till maybe the end of October/early November'ish and it should stay that way unless the cold hits us really early which generally doesn't happen.
Now, some may be confused by what type of boots I'm referring to. I'm referring to boots such as these:
Uggs
Tall Boots
Mocassins
Let's not get into the habit ladies that as soon as a little cool air hits us at night or we get some very cool breezes during the day that we decide to pull out our tall, yet hot fall/winter boots. Now I understand that for some they may be very comfortable in that and they don't get hot during the day and I'm not trying to knock anyone's style; but since I am blogging about fashion advice, I would advise you NOT to do so because you look crazy as all get up walking around in some tall, hot boots while I'm still walking around in shorts and some sandals!
The only types of boots that I personally deem necessary to be year-round boots are combat boots.
I love combat boots and I find them to be a great touch to any type of outfit. You can pair them with a cute skirt and a nice blouse. Or you can wear them with shorts and they always work well with a pair of skinny jeans! THESE boots ladies, I encourage you to wear year-round, but tall boots, I discourage you from doing so except in seasons necessary: fall/winter.

INSTANT SUBSCRIBE! I thought I was the only person that looked at these girls that were a little ahead of this "fashion sense." I agree with combat boots being a cute accessory to every outfit no matter the season, but the other stuff. NO!
ReplyDeleteNo ma'am, you are not the only one! It drove me crazy last week and it also seems that since this rain has hit us, women have gotten the notion that maybe it's ok, but they are sadly mistaken *laughs*!
DeleteI have to agree...I am *desperate* to wear my boots (just wait, I'll have them on every day in the winter!), but I'm holding out until cooler weather or later in October!
ReplyDeleteYAYY! I'm so glad. I have to admit, I'm a little anxious for the colder weather to come, too!
DeleteI thought I was the only one who thought this about a lot of the girls. People don't know if they want to be hot or cold. I just don't understand but I love this post.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! NO! You are not the only one.....(:
