Community
I believe that there is community on social media it just depends on how you put it together and how you use it. You can form a positive community on social networks such as twitter or even Facebook. Facebook is a great way nowadays that people are coming together as communities, such as putting a business out and advertising themselves. It's pretty great. I know my father used it for his campaign; he created a like page for people to keep up with him and what he was doing on his campaign trail.
To me, it's all about who you want in your community and who you want to let in into what you're doing. My personal community on social media is really just with my friends and keeping up with those that I left back home. All the people that I was close with when we graduated, it's all about creating a community with them and keeping up with them and letting them know how much I miss them and we'll be together again soon. That's about it for me!
